Concept[]
The album follows the story of a love triangle between the title character, a man of interest, and that man's girlfriend. The entire album is told in the perspective of Igor, who is portrayed by Tyler.
Plot[]
The opening track "IGOR'S THEME" introduces us to the title character Igor. In the second track, "EARFQUAKE", Igor is trying to show his love towards a man of interest. However, the man leaves. In "I THINK", Igor is at a party where he meets the man again. He tries buying things for the man to get his attention. On physical releases, the next song is "BOYFRIEND". In this song Igor and the man leave the party, and Igor tries to tell him that he wants to be his boyfriend. The man doesn't exactly want that, as he's scared of what the public will think of him being gay. The man ends up leaving again. The short song (hidden track on physical releases) "EXACTLY WHAT YOU RUN FROM YOU END UP CHASING" explains exactly what the rest of the album is about. The next song, "RUNNING OUT OF TIME", Igor finds out the man has been dating a girl. Igor immediately gets mad, and confronts the man. The man leaves once again to avoid the conflict. In "NEW MAGIC WAND", Igor starts going nuts over his discovery in the previous song, and threatens to kill the girl if the man doesn't break up with her. They both tell him to calm down, and he ends up doing that. Later, the man invites Igor to breakfast at his house. In the next track, "A BOY IS A GUN*", Igor arrives at the man's house, only to see the girl there too. He doesn't know how to feel, as he wants to be with the man but it doesn't look like the man wants to. He ends up declaring that he doesn't want to see the man again, and leaves. In "PUPPET", Igor starts to regret over what he said earlier and wants to be with the man. He feels like he's being controlled like a puppet. In "WHAT'S GOOD", Igor realizes he needs to fix his own mental issues, saying stuff like "a car crash couldn't take me, but a dude could!?". At the end of the song, Igor finally calms down. In the first part of "GONE, GONE / THANK YOU", "GONE, GONE", Igor accepts that the man left him and reflects over everything they did together. In the second part of said song, "THANK YOU", Igor thanks the man for everything, but he doesn't wanna fall in love with him again. In I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE, Igor has fully declared that he doesn't love the man anymore. However, he feels that maybe there's still a chance for them to be together in some way. In the closing track, ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?, Igor asks if the man wants to still stay as friends. He ends up accepting, which leads to the entire story looping again.
